The project focused on the renovation and modernization of the lighting system for the playing field at the Municipal Stadium in Karviná, which is used for first-division soccer matches and other sporting events.
The goal was to ensure optimal lighting conditions for players, spectators, and television broadcasts in accordance with current FAČR and UEFA standards.
Detailed description of the project
Within the framework of the project were carried out:
- delivery and installation of 4 masts, each 46 m high,
- installation of 208 high-output LED fixtures with precise beam control,
- Complete electrical installation, including power distribution systems, metering, and inspections,
- construction work – mast foundations, cable routes, anchoring,
- Surveying and as-built documentation.
Project result
The stadium’s upgraded lighting system provides even and intense illumination of the playing field with minimal glare. Thanks to LED technology, energy consumption has been significantly reduced and the quality of broadcasts during evening games has improved.

The project was carried out by the team ELTODO LIGHTING for the Statutory City of Karviná.
