Dvorecký Bridge is a new urban bridge connecting Prague 4 (Podolí) and Prague 5 (Smíchov). It is designed for trams, public transport buses, cyclists and pedestrians. The contract included the implementation
of a complete public lighting system, including ceremonial line lighting of the railings and integration into the city’s central control system.

Detailed description of the project

The project included the installation of masts, LED luminaires and linear lighting of the railings with DALI control. Switchboards with digital control were supplied and installed to enable remote management, monitoring of fault conditions and real-time optimization of operation.
The implementation also included preparation for ARVO units, installation of control elements and connection to the central system of the Technology of the City of Prague. Emphasis was placed on lighting uniformity, energy efficiency, operational reliability and architectural integration into the bridge design.

  • To promote transport connections between the right and left banks of the Vltava River

The bridge is fully equipped with a modern, digitally controlled public lighting system that ensures safe operation and aesthetic night lighting. The lighting is integrated into the city’s central system, allowing real-time monitoring and optimization, and is ready for future expansion with smart elements. The Dvorecký Bridge has become an important part of Prague’s transport infrastructure.
